Doug Aldrich’s masterclass offers a 90-minute look at the ins and outs of his guitar playing, based on the sound and techniques that inspired him. After an introductory performance, Doug will show his amp setup, talk about his early musical influences, and demonstrate various playing techniques from the basics to advanced playing techniques such as legato runs, patterns, and staccato picking.
After a second performance, Doug will share improvisation ideas and offer insights into live and studio setups, including his favorite recording techniques. The masterclass will conclude with an in-depth Q&A session.
