Extreme– 1985- –

Extreme is an American rock band formed in 1985 and debuted in 1989. The band features the outstanding technique of guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and the powerful vocals of Gary Cherone. The band has a unique sound that combines funk, hard rock, and metal. Their signature song “More Than Words” is particularly well known as an acoustic ballad, but the band's essence lies in their complex and energetic songs.
