Saxon is a British heavy metal band formed in the late 1970s and is one of the leading representatives of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Known for their powerful guitar riffs and energetic live performances, their albums Wheels of Steel and Denim and Leather were huge hits.
